MFA when there is no Internet Connection
One worry that has been voiced as we move to a Multifactor Authentication (MFA) requirement concerns travel. What does one do if you need to provide MFA to log on when there is no internet connection available on your Mobile device?
Luckily this was considered by Microsoft when the application was developed. Please follow the steps below to confirm your identity for MFA when you do not have internet access on your mobile device.
1. Attempt to log in as you formally do with your Locus Robotics email address and password.
2. At the prompt to approve your logon request click on the “I can’t use my Microsoft Authenticator app right now”.
3. When asked to verify your identity select “Use a verification code”.
4. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your Mobile Device, tap on your Locus Robotics account and make note of the One-Time password code.
5. Enter the code on the device you are trying to log in on
6. Provided you have entered the code in a reasonable amount of time you will then be logged in. If too much time passed, please refresh the page and start from the beginning.
