Azure Multi Factor Authentication Enrollment Guide
Below are the step-by-step instructions to complete enrollment in Azure MFA. If you have already setup the MFA and need to update associated phone numbers or passwords please submit a ticket to the Locus Service Desk by browsing to https://servicedesk.locusrobotics.com/ or emailing servicedesk@locusrobotics.com
- First, download the Microsoft Authenticator App to your mobile device from either the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS).
- From your Locus issued laptop, Click here and attempt to log in with your email address and network logon password as your previous MS365 password has been synchronized with your Locus network password.
3. You will be prompted for more information. Click Next.
4. You will be taken to a page asking you to add the Microsoft Authenticator app to your mobile device
that you took care of in step #1. Click Next.
5. You will then be asked to set up your account. Click Next.
6. You will then be presented with a QR Code
7. On your mobile device, open the Microsoft Authenticator App and agree to the terms
8. Select “Scan a QR code” in the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone and allow the app to use your camera when prompted. Please Note that if you are already using the MS Authenticator app, you will need to select the "+" Icon in the top right, then select "Work or school account" and then "Scan a QR code"
9. Scan the QR Code with your mobile device which will add your @locusrobotics.com account to the
Microsoft Authenticator App
10. Permit the Microsoft Authenticator App to send notifications
11. Click “Next” on the webpage you just scanned the QR code from
12. You will then be prompted to test Authentication via the App
13. On your mobile Device click Approve in the notification generated by the Microsoft Authenticator
App
14. When you authenticate for the first time you will see the screen below and click Next
15. You will need to pick a secondary means of authentication. Enter your phone number and choose
Text or Call
16. Enter the code you are provided with
17. You will see the screen below once your phone number has been registered successfully
18. Click Done on the next screen and you will be logged into MS365
